Numba Siluka is an International Model based in Glasgow currently based in Glasgow. Her originality shines through her enthusiastic personality and distinctive African features. Born in 1987, she originates from a small town in Zambia, Central Africa, where she lived till she was 17 years old and then moved to Scotland. She then proceeded to become a professional model at the age of 19 and acquire a degree in ‘Finance & Management Science’ awarded by the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.
Numba specialises in Fashion, Editorial and Commercial work. Her versatility, dynamic nature and ability to handle anything thrown at her has greatly contributed to Numba's success in the modelling industry so far. She has been published in various local and International Magazines (see credits) and is also a professionally trained catwalk model. She has modelled for Fashion TV, LFW as well as brands such as Harvey Nichols, Boudiche, Supermodel Caprice's design collection, various designers at the Scottish Wedding Exhibition and many more local designers. Numba takes her work very seriously. She is very professional and reliable, liking to contribute her own ideas as well as be part of a creative process. This is reflected in her portfolio where her creativity is clearly portrayed. She has a strong desire to learn, grow and develop professionally. Her Mother agency is The Model Team in Glasgow.
In more recent months, Numba founded the Pinkerton Model School which offers a wide range of classes for individuals wishing to learn modelling skills. The classes are currently open to females from the age of 16 upwards. The training staff is composed of industry experts: professional photographers, make-up & hair stylists, and models. The mission is to ensure that people with drive and potential are properly trained to become earning models.
